Exhibition at StFX library

Vernissage Opening Reception poster
Over the past month, forty French Immersion elementary students from Antigonish Education Centre have collaborated with L'nu interdisciplinary artist, poet, and scholar Michelle Sylliboy to create artworks that honour the land and the children who never made it home from residential schools. Together, they created a mural using komqwejwi'kasikl symbols to send messages of love and peace.

This exhibition draws on research conducted by a team at StFX on making art accessible in rural contexts.

The exhibition will be on display in the Angus L. Macdonald Library until April 30. We warmly invite you to visit the exhibition over the coming weeks.
